Best things about resortLocated right in the middle of "the strip" Monorail beside the hotel, bus stop in front. Once in your unit there is NO Noise from the outside.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyMost of the "action"on the strip can be gotten to by walking. Hilton Grand Vacation Club can use the Flamingo Pool which is located right in front of HGVC.
ReviewThis is the place to stay to be in the middle of everything The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a one bedroom suite which was very clean and well appointed. Right outside the rear door is a very nice pool with several cabanas and bbq grills Also two hot tubs for those that wanted them. Never a problem finding chairs or lounges. We could use the beautiful Flamingo Pool but prefered our own. We rented a car as we like to visit the areas around Las Vegas. Went to Zion, Laughlin, and Oatman,Az. this time aroung. Also we like several of the outlying casinoes, Green Valley and Silverton. HGVC has a self park garage right beside the hotel or you can use valet park ($10) per day. As I mentioned before, most all hotels and casinoes are within walking distance of HGVC.A big plus over taking a bus or car.(Fremont area will need a bus) All in all, a nice vacation spot in Vegas, away from those monster crowds in the strip hotels, but yet only yards from Las Vegas Blv.

Best things about resortClose to everything. Center of the strip.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyJimmy Buffet's Margaritaville as well as many other fine restaurants nearby. Monorail as your door practically, which serves all of the LV strip. ( IF you do not rent a car. )
ReviewI have been to LV several times, but not for over 20 years. This time I flew in and came in what I think is the perfect time of year. It was sunny almost always, and in the 70's during the day and 50s at night. Folks still used the pools and hot tubs at the Flamingo since all their amenities are available to the HGV members and RCI folks staying there. I rented a car for the week. Suggestion, do not rent at the airport because you will pay about $100 extra for that convenience. Take a cab or shuttle for about $6 per person to the hotel and Enterprise is very close and Hertz is available in the Flamingo. My cost for Enterprise for the week as a AARP member for a dodge charger was $250 plus gas. If you stay a week, please get out and see something other than the room and the casino's. My wife and I went to the RIO to see Penn and Teller, and the Plazzo to see the Jersey Boys. Both were great. We took several day trips. Zion national park, which is 2 1/2 hours away is super. We also went to Valley of Fire State park - 1 1/2 hours, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead ( 1 hr + tour and leisurely drive on the LV side of the lake ), and Red Rock Canyon. We found a great place for breakfast about 1 1/2 miles from hotel. It was Blueberry Hill Restaurant. Prices were very reasonable, and the food and service were excellent. I prefer BJ and Bills Gambling hall next door was my favorite. It is not huge, but had more $5 tables than any of the bigger places. They also had what I considered a great casual friendly atmosphere that you do not feel at the larger casinos. Of course you should view the fountains at the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, New York New York, Paris Las Vegas, the Venetian etc. etc. which are all within within walking distance. Last, but not least, the Hilton Grand Vacation Club accommodations are excellent. We had room 711 and perhaps that was a good omen to start a great week. Only down thing I can say is that the HGVC should ensure the hallways are cleaned and vacuumed daily.

Best things about resortThis resort was located right in the middle of the strip, so it was a perfect central location for access to all of the other hotels and casinos. The bus stop for "The Deuce" was right outside the Flamingo casino. Once we figured out that the bus was the best way to get around, (about 2 days into our trip),this resort and its location was just fantastic for us . We proceeded to get on and off of the bus at various locations and managed to see almost every hotel and casino on the strip, which was one of our goals as tourists in Las Vegas this trip!
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyIt was great being so close to the Bellagio and its water show, the Paris Hotel and Casino and Caesar's Palace. If you don't want to venture far from the resort, we liked the Flamingo's casino, restaurants, and really enjoyed the comedian we saw at the Flamingo. The best food we had on the trip was definitely at the Paris Hotel restaurants and bakeries (try the crepes--yummy)-really liked our meals at the Venetian/Palazzo as well.
ReviewThis was an exchange for us and it was a great property! We are telling our family and friends that this is the perfect place to stay if they really are looking for location, location, location on the strip. The deli/market at the resort was great for groceries and homemade convenience foods. We commented that we wished more resorts could maintain such a great little place so you don't have to search out grocery stores and more reasonable sandwich/pizza shops. The concierge helped us with tickets--had FANTASTIC seats and prices at all shows. Enjoyed the tour of Hoover Dam we signed up for with her--even had to change the day--no problem at all. All of the staff was extremely friendly--not real pushy about the timeshare presentation--nice. The rooms were the other great part of this resort.--very spacious with a great bed and bathroom--also loved the washer and dryer in the unit. It was just the two of us--can't imagine that a family could have a negative experience here, but it just didn't seem geared for families--but we're not sure Las Vegas is really a family oriented vacation location?! We would come back here in a heartbeat! Can't wait, in fact!
