Good resort, close to Quebec City
Date:June 28, 2012
Best things about resortLocation is close to Quebec City and unit was clean.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyQuebec City and Mont Saint Anne ski resort. Good grocery stores down the street
ReviewMy wife and I wanted to go to Quebec City for the Winter Carnival this past February and this resort was closest to the city. We had a 1 BR unit. For us, the resort was just fine - this place is nothing fancy but that is not what we were going for. The unit was clean, had a kitchen and had plenty of space for the two of us. We cooked in for a few nights and the cookware did the job. We enjoyed the fireplace every night. This resort is about 30 minutes away from Quebec City and an easy drive down the highway. Along the highway a few minutes away are grocery stores where you can grab some food items. It is about 5 minutes away from Mont Saint Anne ski resort where we went skiing for 1 day. The room had a nice view of the ski resort mountain. I did not like how wireless internet cost something around $50 for the week and that there were some extra registration fees (I think around $40) for RCI members. It snowed heavily during the week and the staff did a great job clearing the walkways and parking lots with snowblowers and snow trucks. all-in-all a good place to spend the week.

A must see location and nice resort
Date:April 30, 2012
Best things about resortCLEAN!!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our family traveled for April school vacation; two children 17, 15 had a great time. Lots to do and see. Great deal of history. Quebec city 25 minutes away. IGA supermarket 5 minutes away. Units are well stocked.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyOld Quebec beautiful. Again, lots of history. Mainly ate in so really can't recommend restaurants.
ReviewI am a neat freak to say the least and was more than impressed with the condition of this resort and the cleanliness of it. The staff was very friendly. While reading reviews from other guests I knew I wasn't going to be staying at "The Ritz", but the resort is everything it claims to be. It's a ski lodge so walls may have a scratch on them, but when I say it's clean, it's CLEAN. Very impressed and very grateful that we spent our week in Quebec and at Club Vacances Toutes Saisons.

Excellent resort with outstanding staff
Date:March 22, 2012
Best things about resortCleanliness, Friendly Staff, Close to all amenities
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyGreat view of the St-Lawrence River and Mont St-Anne. Just a short drive to restaurants and grocery store.
ReviewI took my husband there for his first ski trip and he had a blast !! Loved the scenary and the culture that Québec had to offer. The resort staff were incredibly friendly and helpfull to all of our requests. Great knowledge of the area and ongoing activities to forfil all your needs. The condo was immaculatly clean with everything required for living. The décor may have been a little outdated but in perfect condition. If you want something simple and practical, this is the right place. We are looking forward to going back in the future, if not repeat it yearly !

Not a 5 star resort, but WONDERFUL, none the less!
Date:March 19, 2012
Best things about resortThe location of these condos is perfect, minutes to all of the best attractions. I was also very impressed by the cleanliness of the unit, and the helpful and friendly staff.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyQuebec City, Charlevoix Region, Islte d'Olreans, I could go on and on....
ReviewMy husband and I spent the 1st week, of our two-week Canadian HONEYMOON there, and LOVED IT!
We had a one bedroom, full bath, and kitchen, and absolutely loved our unit. The entire unit was IMPECABLY clean (and I would like to point out that I'm a CLEAN FREAK) and we had a beautiful view of Mont St. Anne. I was quite impressed, especially after reading some negative reviews on other travel websites.
These condos were also in the PERFECT location, especially for travelers like ourselves, who've never been to Quebec. There is a supermarket right down the road, and within a short driving distance is Quebec City, Charlevoix Region, Isle d'Orleans, and COUNTLESS other wonderful tourist attractions. The staff was UNBELIEVABLY helpful with giving us info about the region, places to go, and things to do.
If you take the unit for what it is - simply, a clean condo in a GREAT location, I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Québec City nearby, but ...
Date:February 21, 2012
Best things about resortThe resort is about 35 miles from Québec City, which is a fascinating walled city with tons of history. Cathedral Ste-Anne-De-Beaupré and Ile d'Orléans are well worth a visit. For skiers, world class Mont Ste. Anne is only a few miles away.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyQuébec City, Ste-Anne-De-Beaupré, Ile d'Orléans, Mont St.Anne. Grocery stores nearby.
ReviewIf you're a young skier with your girlfriend and another couple, and you don't mind tripping over each other, this resort would be fine. However, to describe this unit as suitable for four people is misleading. Fortunately for us, there was only two of us. When we first opened the door to the unit, the door banged into the kitchen table and we had difficulty getting our luggage into the unit. Although the sofa pulls out into a bed, the "living room" is so small, you would have virtually no room left. The television was an older model, perhaps a 24" screen, and there was no TV in the bedroom. The "Full Kitchen" is a triangular space perhaps 10' x 6' x 11'; it has a modern fridge, stove, microwave and very little cupboard space, exacerbated by the fact the pots and pans need to be stored in the overhead cupboards. Because there are no drawers, you have to bend down to get cutlery from tray in a cupboard beside the sink. The "Full Bathroom" has no counter and there is nowhere to hang towels. I can't imagine four people sharing this tiny bathroom. This is the only resort we could find in this area, so we had little choice where to stay. The furnishing are okay but not great; staff were friendly and helpful, but there were no resort activities that I was aware of. I would likely not stay here again, and would find it difficult to recommend it.

Perfect resort for skiing
Date:January 9, 2012
Best things about resortThis resort is well located, less than 2 minutes drive from ski Mont Ste-Anne. Large living room with a fireplace, lots of place, well equiped kitchen. Everything was very clean.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyLots of restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, hardware stores, ski/sports stores less than 5 minutes from the resort. The beautiful Quebec city is only 35 minutes away with its nice restaurants, terrasses, architecture, aquarium and even a mall with an indoor attraction park (Galeries de la Capitale). The biggest winter sliding station in north America is 40 minutes from there (Village Vacances Valcartier). Lots of fun!
ReviewGreat stay... Great location for skiing and fun. We can ski in the evening too.

Great location for exploring Quebec
Date:October 30, 2011
Best things about resortThe proximity to Quebec City attractions made this a fine resort to stay at.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyThe restaurant onsite of this resort was excellent.
ReviewThe units were very clean although a bit small. The pots and pans had to be put in the upper cupboards as there was very little space in the kitchen. This left the upper cupboards too full for many groceries. The office staff was very helpful and pleasant. We were surprised that we had to pay a maintenance fee and extra fee for internet access. This added $70 to our expenses.
The best part about this resort when it is not ski season is that it is close to Quebec City and all the attractions there are within a short drive. We also enjoyed being close to Cape Tourmente where we saw the Arctic Geese migration and driving through the beautiful Charlevoix region which is north of the resort.

Tired resort in beautiful location
Date:October 19, 2011
Best things about resortBeautiful scenery all around, close to Quebec City. Nice restaurant and bar on site
Best attractions or restaurants nearbySainte-Anne de Beaupre Cathedral, Sept Chutes, Isle d'Orleans, to mention a few. Many beautiful scenic routes. Quebec City was awesome. Took a city tour and walked all over. Parliament Bldgs, etc, etc
ReviewResort is in need of updating. Pool was not so clean and not inviting at all. The condo was large, but very outdated and tired looking. On check-in we were told our room was not ready and they did not have any other to offer. Finally after 3 hrs, we found out the stove was not working, so they moved us to another room upstairs which we wanted in the first place! Not so good for customer service!!! Not a 3-star in our opinion..

NEEDS UPDATING
Date:September 26, 2011
Best things about resortthe location is amazing close to Quebec city to the Momontrency waterfalls, basically its a beautiful scenic area lots of things to do the pools refreshing the staff extremely nice, helpful and friendly
Best attractions or restaurants nearbythe waterfalls is by far the coolest thing close by and if you have kids the aquarium in Quebec city is pretty cool
Reviewwe got there on friday the 1st of july which is a holiday the unit was old smelly not well kept and they had just changed the patio door which is great however, no screen so we couldn't open it because of all the bugs that would come in (being in the woods and all) so for 4 days we died of heat in the unit staff was nice enough to give us extra fans but still that was a big big huge downer,,,
the units needs to be updated, cleaned throughly and maintained,,, the carpets are old they smell like humidity, this is a unit to accomodate 10 people we had utensils and plates for 8 (we were 9) the furniture is old and uncomfortable the beds are horrid, basically this is by far the worse units i ever wen it... we were aware tht this wasn't a gold, or even silver crown but we were expecting a bit better having been to other resorts that weren't gold or silver...
basically i wouldn't reccomend it to no one!

THEY SHOULD HAVE PLACED ME IN A UNIT FURTHER SINCE THEY HAD LOTS OF UNITS AVAILABLE. I AM NOT SATISFIED OF MY VACATION. ONE ROOM UNIT IS NOT FOR MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE. nice area but resort units in need of updates

Best things about resortIdeal location for nearness of attractions and Quebec city. Good on-site restaurant. Clean rooms and resort, Very good staff.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyBassilica of St Ann, the Canyon, Seven chutes, on-site restaurant or Artistist Restaurant.
ReviewThis resort is close enough to Quebec city (30-40 min dive) so that you can visit attractions in Quebec city and also be within drving distance of attractions outside of the city. The tours offered through the resort were very good and well worth the money and time. We did the walking tour with boat ride and meal within Quebec city and enjoyed every moment. The resort staff is very helpful in guiding you to area attractions. The unit we occupied was a three bedroom chalet. It was clean, and had plenty of towels and kitchen amenities. Unfortunatly all the bedroom mattresses are in dire need of replacement. very lumpy, hard and if you have back problems (as one in our party did) you will not sleep well. The electric lighting in the unit was sparce and inadequit and the television was old and small . If these faults were improved, I would go back to this resort, but as I found the resort, I would not go back.

Bad resort
Date:September 5, 2011
Best things about resortThe concierge service was good. Most staff were bilingual Restaurant dinner was fine
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyGood location for heading to eastern Quebec and the City. If you only want to visit the city I would recommend staying closer as it was a 30-40 minute drive, and expensive parking in the city.
ReviewDescription mentions 3rd floor units but our reservation made no mention that ours was on the third floor and the unit number was 1901, which would not indicate it was a 3rd floor. Asked on arrival to have it changed, and was told there were no other units. No matter if I had health challenges. No A/C, the unit was closed up, hot on the third floor on arrival , to the point I was leaving refrigerator open to get some cool air. The bathroom light switch was filthy, didn't even want to touch it. The ceiling fans were squeaky so it was irritating to have them on and try to sleep. During our stay TS Irene passed. The windows had huge leaks which we were told to mop up with our towels, maintenance would be back in the aM. The carpet was wet and the building shook. The power went out a few times and no one was checking on us or making any alternate arrangements for our safety. The towels we used to mop leaky windows, we had to take them to the office for exchange. The wi-fi was $40.00 for the week and the signal was weak and really not worth it. Despite the storm there was no refund on the $29.00 extra administrative fee the resort charges. The unit was very small and the furniture uncomfortable and dated. The kitchen as others have stated was very small, actually a corner. There was a starter pack of coffee no filters, I would not go back here.

Family trip to Quebec area
Date:August 26, 2011
Best things about resortOur first floor, 1bdrm unit (1607) was clean, renovated and well equipped. It was small for 2 adults and 2 girls, ages 13 and 7, but we knew this ahead and were pleased the weather allowed us to eat on the deck with a lovely view of Mt St.Anne's ski trails. The 2 pools were heated (thankfully) and clean. It was well insulated, quiet and we slept well every night (with a fan when warm). Washer and dryers nearby and the kids enjoyed the tennis/volleyball/badminton. Did not use the restaurant onsite as it looked uninteresting.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyWith kids we did the following: Canyon Ste Anne ( great suspension bridges), Isle d'Orleans is beautiful drive, we had a lovely lunch at Moulin St Laurent by a waterfall on their terrace, old city Quebec, kids loved the funicular, we missed the changing of guard at 10am at the Citadel, Wendake, Huron village on other side of Quebec is very interesting and an informative tour about their culture, lifestyle; kids really enjoyed this. The Bee museum in Beuapre is very interesting for all with a nice gift shop. Finally a dinner in old city and then 9pm Cirque d'Soleil performance (Free!) was absolutely the way to end our stay.
ReviewThe resort lacks some landscaping/flower touches but it was quiet, well equipped if small and clean. There is lots to do in this area and Quebec... we had a great family vacation!

Best things about resortHelpful Staff, Concierge Service, Location, LOCATION, LOCATION (a little over 30 drive to Quebec City)
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyQuebec City, River Cruises, Waterfalls, Scenic Drives
ReviewThis resort is located close enough to make visits into Quebec City or travel east and north. Although the units at this date are a little "dated" and smaller in size, they are clean and well-kept. The resort should be thankful to have such a nice staff. Everyone was helpful, especially the concierge service. These people make this resort a pleasant place to stay. (Make sure that you take advantage of this service.) Merci to all of the staff.
The area has much to do. You must visit Quebec City! See the Image Mill, free Cirque du Soleil and all the historical sights. It's a clean and welcoming city.
There are plenty of day trips that will satisfy any interest.
The resort, although dated, is soon to begin renovations. This will only make a stay here more enjoyable!

Best things about resortThe best thing about this Resort was the location. We wanted to visit the Basilica; it was within 5 minutes of the Resort.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyThe Basilica, Vieux-Québec, Village Vacances Valcartier
ReviewWe spent a week at this Resort and we were very satisfied! The Basilica was within 5 minutes, the Vieux-Québec was only a 30-minute drive. We were able to go there a few times. We also went to the Village Vacances Valcartier and it was only a 60-minute drive to this attraction! We had the view of the Mont-Ste-Anne slopes. The pools were heated. Very clean! Everything we needed in a kitchen was there (pots, pans, utensils, etc.). We will certainly revisit this Resort! :O)

Good place to visit a great region
Date:July 10, 2011
Best things about resortLocation - the Quebec City area has many attractions to keep a variety of vacationers busy for a week. Our family of five (3 young girls) had a great time.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyHike to the waterfall across the street from Mt. St. Anne - it's free and unbelievably beautiful - something out of a South American jungle. It's called Jean-Larose. There are about 300 steps to get down, but it's well worth it. Otherwise - Quebec City is only 30 minutes and is absolutely beautiful. Moulin a image is not to missed! It's got to be the world's largest outdoor movie!
ReviewOur 2 bedroom unit was very nice - it appeared to be remodeled recently. Everything was in good working order. It's not as small as I expected from the description. We were in unit 2102, which may have been in one of the newer buildings. We had no issue with "thin walls". The resort has two decent, clean, heated pools and a small playground. Here's a short run-down of our week-long itinerary: Sun-local waterfall, pool, food shopping. Mon - Quebec City (upper town), Tues - whale watching cruise (2.5hrs north in Tadoussac), Wed - Quebec City (lower town), Thur - hiking in Parc du Grand-Jardin, Fri - pool, QC at night, Sat-Montmorency falls, Ile D'Orleans, home.

Best things about resortThe activity planning, the area and proximity to Quebec.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyVieux Quebec, the Aquarium, Les Chutes de Montmorency.
ReviewWhen on vacation, I don't usually focus on the resort because I am more interested in the activities we enjoy. Unfortunately, this resort had a negative impact on my vacation experience. I had 2 two bedroom units booked for the week: one on the ground floor (2304) and one on the third floor (2312). Our group consisted of 4 adults and 4 children.
I was prepared for the small unit but not the condition of the resort. In general the grounds are well kept and well lighted.
The resort asks you to recycle, but does not provide the appropriate bin to make this process easy.
In 2304, our base cabinet in the kitchen had an unpleasant smell - like stale garbage. The bathroom shower fixture came out in my hand. The diswasher in 2312 was leaking, but the resort staff weren't interested in checking in out, they trivialized it by asking if we were using the right detergent. The windows in 2304 are not sealed properly, we coud feel cold air coming in. The blinds on the windows wouldn't open or close, so once we finally got them to sit flat to keep out the light at night, we didn't bother trying to use them again. One complaint from 2312 was that there was a window approx 11ft up, with no curtains, that let in light at all hours, so no one in that room got sleep.
The walls and floors are ridiculously thin. I think most of the other reviews have captured the essence of that issue. It is a REALLY big problem for this resort. We didn't sleep all week. IT WAS HORRIBLE!
I was unprepared for the nickel and diming that takes place: $29.50/wk "administration fee", more for points members, $15+taxes for access to sports centre which houses "free" games for kids (which was unavailable during our stay), the pool and the spa. I paid the fee, but was unable to use any of the amenities. Please verify with reception if the amenities are available before paying the fee. $50/wk for internet access.
I had full intentions of using the spa, but when I spoke with reception, they referred me to the spa direclty, when we called the spa we were told, reception had to make the appointment. I never did get my massage.
That said, my one recommendation is to definitiely speak to the staff at the activities desk in the lobby. They are VERY knowledgeable and friendly and will make wonderful recommendations for you. We did the guided tour of Quebec, which was wonderful. They can also provide you with discount tickets for some of the other area activities.

Ok Place to visit

Best things about resortIf you need a downstairs unit for elderly, they will help you by changing your room if needed. Grocery near by.
Best attractions or restaurants nearby30 mins from Old Quebec City. Montreal about 3 1/2 hours away. Plenty of places to eat.
ReviewIf you are looking to ski, Great place. If not 30 mins from Old Quebec City. When arriving looks are very decieving. The units are Ok but walls are very thin and can hear everything. If traveling with elderly, they will change an upstairs unit for a downstairs unit since there are no elevators. We went in early May. Weather was pretty good, sometimes chilly. We stayed in 2304, 2 bedrm, 1 bath, 1 tv, 1 queen, 2 twin beds with a mini washer & dryer. Living room furiture outdated and very uncomforable. Queen bed OK. There is a couple of grocerys near by. Food was very expensive. We did find a Walmart & a Dollarama in Quebec City. We got bored after the 3rd day and drove around 3 hours to Montreal and loved it. We should have stayed in Montreal, seemed like more to do with elderly. Rented a car at the airport, thought we got a good deal with priceline but come to fine out the insurance is twice the price of the car was. All & all it was a place I have never visited. Montreal also speaks more English and is more friendly.

Be prepared for extra costs and thin walls/ceiling

Best things about resortProximity to Mont Ste. Anne and the main road to go into Beaupre. I like the washer and dryer that we had in the unit.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyMont Ste. Anne. This resort is approximately 25 minutes from Le Massif. Since it is so close to the main road, the IGA is very close by. For good restaurants, you need to go into Quebec City. Food in Beaupre is not at the level that French cuisine in Quebec should be.
ReviewIf you stay at this resort, be prepared to pay for a lot of things. Wifi is $50.00 for the week. Every telephone call in or out is 60cents, even the 1-800 numbers. Also, there is a fee for staying in the unit. For the week it was $30.00, but we know for Point members who stay a shorter period of time, the cost was higher. We stayed in Unit 2301 during March Break of 2011 and I could not recommend it. Our unit was a two bedroom on the ground floor. We had a great view of Mont. Ste. Anne, but the unit is noisy and the bedding was not good. I applaud the management for the number of towels that they provided and the hairdryer, however, the walls are extremely thin. You could hear the people above walking every step (it was horrible), their toilets flushing, the water running and the shaking of their washing machine. We could not sleep!!! The comforter was the old polyester bedspreads that did not breathe and the pillows need to be replaced. I don't know how this resort obtained the rating it has, but it's "cheap", like a cheap motel and it shows.
