Best things about resortSpacious units, spacious grounds, good pool and amenities, nice units, handy location with nice views
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyGreat beaches, central Maui location, several supermarkets nearby as well as plenty of restaurants
ReviewWe had a great stay here. Loved the condo. Very spacious and were able to get the ground floor we requested, which also had 2 Murphy beds in the lounge for the kids to sleep on. Excellent kitchen, though microwaves temperamental but working. Coffee maker and blender for the important drinks! BBQ was out our door so very handy for cooking. Lots of space for two kids, especially grass to play on outside the room. Pool basic but a good size for the resort. Tennis, golf putting and other games available. Didn't see much of the resort staff, though they kept the grounds in great order. We'd happily go back to stay.

Best things about resortThe grounds are beautiful with lovely views of the ocean. Lots of space for my boys to run around. This was not a crowded resort. There were plenty of seats at the pool. There was no competition for equipment avialable for checkout -tennis, croquet and shuffleboard. The location is excellent - groceries and many restaurants nearby.
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyMany great beaches within a few miles, although beach at Maui Sunset is not swimmable. MANY good restaurants in Kehei. We highly recommend Antonio's and The Blue Wave. Longs and Safeway are a stone's throw away. Our favorite activities on the island were snorkeling at Honolua Bay and driving the road to Hana. We highly recommend driving the southern route on your way back and staying over one night. These were incredible experiences.
ReviewAlthough the location was great and the grounds were lovely, we were disappointed in this resort for several reasons. First of all, the rooms were in need of updating. (Picture "The Golden Girls" set.) It is not a place for young families. My boys only found a few kids with whom they could play since most of the people staying here seemed to be retired persons. They were very strict about rules - noise at any time, pool usage etc. It was also very frustrating that the air conditioner was on a 4 hour timer. We had to get up in the middle of the night each night and turn it back on. The bedroom air condtioner cooled the bedroom. However, the livingroom air conditioner was not able to cool the rest of the place.
Skip the orientation at the pool area when you arrive. It wasn't very informative and it's basically so they can sell you activities. I understand they get quite a cut if you purchase through them.
