ReviewThe Resort, if you get other than the hotel unit, is nice. It could use a screen door in the front and back to let the cool mountain air in. There are lots of things to do in the area...Summer or Winter.
Best things about resortAmenities, helpful staff, family friendly, lovely pine forest setting
Best attractions or restaurants nearbyWe only ate out once at Darbis - good breakfasts. The kids liked playing at Woodland Lake Park. Skiing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding in the area.
ReviewOur two bedroom with kitchen was roomy enough for the 3 adults and two young children in our group. The bathrooms were small, but adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Maintenance responded quickly. The carpet was a bit worn and the beds were harder compared to ours at home, so we didn't sleep as well. The kitchen supplies were adequate, and we could request extras, such as a blender or crockpot. The resort was in a quiet, peaceful area.

ReviewThe internet services are really bad, I couldn't get any work done that I have to leave two days early to be able to follow up on my work. While the unit does not have any private patio, all outside areas and seating require lots of maintenance. If you are expecting a room with some nature view, you should find a different spot.
